Shenzhen customs revealed yesterday that under the leadership of a group of leading enterprises in Shenzhen, Shenzhen's foreign trade export has won a good start.

According to customs statistics, in January this year, the total value of Shenzhen's foreign trade and import and export amounted to US $33 billion 250 million, up 86.1% over the same period last year.

In January, the total import and export volume of processing trade in Shenzhen amounted to 17 billion 840 million US dollars, a rapid increase of 1.8 times, accounting for 53.7% of the total foreign trade of the city.

With the formal implementation of the early harvest plan for trade in goods across the Straits Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA), the trade environment for Taiwan has gradually improved. The import and export value of Shenzhen and Taiwan has reached 2 billion 210 million US dollars, an increase of 1.1 times, of which 1 billion 940 million from Taiwan's imports, an increase of 1.1 times, accounting for 87.8% of the total value of Taiwan's trade over the same period.

Electromechanical products, which are mainly high-tech products, have become the main force of export.

In January, Shenzhen's mechanical and electrical products exported 14 billion 120 million US dollars, an increase of 85.5%, accounting for 72.4% of the total export value of the same period.
