Fabric Design Competition: Fabric And Pattern Design Competition Schedule

In March 30th, the launching ceremony of the "2011 China International fabric design competition" and the Keqiao China Light Textile City Promotion Conference were launched in Beijing, and the fabric design competition began. The 2011 China International fabric design competition aims at promoting product innovation, encourages the design and innovation of market-oriented textile fabrics and pattern products, and takes the exploration of fabric design talents as an important mission. It has become the window platform for representing the highest level and cutting-edge design capability of China's textile fabrics and patterns.

In order to better connect the market with the industry, the competition is divided into two sub groups, namely, the two major sub competitions of fabric design and pattern design. The fabric design competition mainly focuses on the textile and garment enterprises, emphasizing the productivity and market value of the works; while the pattern design competition mainly focuses on the designers and professional institutions, and pays more attention to the perception and expression of creativity.

Outstanding works, which stand out in the two sub competitions, will be made by famous designers as ready-made garments and displayed to the industry in the form of dynamic shows, so as to better realize the value complementarity between fabric design and terminal market.

During this period, the fabric design and pattern design competition were carried out at the same time, combining the textile and fabric industry with innovation as the main theme.
