Since 2011, the inspection and quarantine department has implemented the statutory inspection of the newly added products in the catalogue of legal inspection, and the adjustment of the catalogue has achieved remarkable results.

Data show that in the first quarter of this year, the EU recalled 18 textile and clothing products to China, a decrease of 77% compared with the same period in 2010.

Among the EU's recall countries, the top three were Bulgaria (recall 6), Greece (recall 6), Germany (recall 2).

Two of the German recall products are socks and sheets, which are illegal products and are banned from azo.

It is understood that Germany is the EU most stringent requirements for the banned azo, and the focus of monitoring has shifted from clothing to clothing accessories and bedspreads, quilts and other textile products.

Here, the inspection and quarantine department reminds the relevant products export enterprises that they should strengthen their learning and understanding of the new laws and regulations abroad, grasp the requirements of foreign children's clothing design, enhance their own safety awareness and ability in product design, and strictly control the quality of the raw and auxiliary materials.

At the same time, the inspection and quarantine departments will also strengthen the publicity and explanation of laws and policies.
