From the perspective of trade, Shanghai's general trade exports amounted to 6 billion 604 million US dollars, an increase of 28.7% over the same period last year, an import of 8 billion 738 million US dollars, an increase of 28.6%; processing trade exports of US $8 billion 488 million, an increase of 2%, and imports of 3 billion 428 million US dollars, an increase of 6%.

From the point of view of major trade products, Shanghai's mechanical and electrical products exported 11 billion 814 million US dollars, an increase of 9.5% over the same period last year, an import of US $10 billion 830 million, an increase of 22.1%; the export of high-tech products increased by US $7 billion 229 million, an increase of 3.5%, and imports of US $6 billion 572 million, an increase of 18.4%.

From the main import and export market, Shanghai exported $3 billion 627 million to the European Union, an increase of 2.6% over the same period last year, an import of 3 billion 914 million US dollars, an increase of 31.9%, an increase of 6.7% US dollars, an import 1 billion 853 million US dollar, an increase of 12.9%, an increase of 21.6% US dollars to Japan, an increase of 21.6%, and an increase of 2 billion 689 million dollars in imports.
