Xu Kunyuan believes that the "12th Five-Year" industry is faced with the important opportunities brought about by the further development of economic globalization and the accelerated release of the multilevel, multidimensional and diversified domestic demand market. It is also faced with a series of severe challenges such as the intensification of resources and environmental constraints and the increasingly fierce competition among countries.

On the whole, "12th Five-Year" is still an important strategic opportunity for optimizing the development of the textile and chemical fiber industry. The industry will adhere to the new industrialization road with Chinese characteristics and develop a modern textile industry system with structural optimization, advanced technology, cleanliness and safety, high added value and strong employability. It will continue to maintain the important position of the textile industry as a pillar industry in the national economy, an important livelihood industry and an internationally competitive industry.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, China's chemical fiber industry, which has experienced more than 10 years of rapid growth, will slow down and increase its annual growth rate to around 6%.

By 2015, the difference of chemical fiber production from the current 46% to 60%, the self sufficiency rate of high-grade fabrics and products increased from 70% to 85%, and the production of high-performance fibers increased from 55 thousand tons to 160 thousand tons. At the same time, the proportion of R & D input, labor productivity and output value of new products were also increased.

Zheng Zhiyi, honorary president of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, pointed out many times that the future development of China's chemical fiber industry should be changed to "four modernizations" - differentiation, scale, emerging materials and biomass.

At this session, Xiaoping elaborated on the "four modernizations" mode.

In his view, differentiation has two meanings. First, the quality of conventional products is changed to the differentiation and functionalization direction; the two is the differentiation of enterprise development, not the pursuit of mass production, and the path of differentiation and high value-added products.

The scale also does not mean that the total scale continues to expand. More importantly, it emphasizes the expansion of single line capacity and the upgrading of individual enterprises, such as the development of new PTA technology and equipment of million tons or more, nylon polymerization technology and equipment with a daily production capacity of more than 200 tons, and annual production of 60 thousand tons or more of viscose staple fiber complete sets of technology and equipment. The number of enterprises with annual sales income exceeding 5 billion yuan, over 10 billion yuan and over 50 billion yuan will continue to grow.

Xiaoping, the product development and promotion application, is considered to be the starting point for the future development of chemical fiber industry.

At present, there is still a big gap between China's new product development, especially its market promotion and application.

In the next 10 years, the world's chemical fiber production will be further pferred to China. The world's chemical fiber industry will continue to change, and China's economic growth will be in pition. The space for personalized and differentiated products will become larger and larger, and market competition will shift to differentiation and high added value.

At the same time, the continuous improvement of domestic textile and chemical fiber manufacturing industry's own equipment and technology level has created favorable conditions for the research and development of new products of chemical fiber enterprises objectively.

Xiaoping reminded participants that while emphasizing product development, they should pay more attention to marketing and learn from the successful experience of "Lycra", "sleeping sleeping treasure" and "modal" brand.
