Designers Launch 3-D Show
Nearly more than 250 shows and parties in New York fashion week began in September 8th, and many designers began to seek unique ways of attracting attention. Many people thought of the possibility of 3D show.
Norma Kamali is going to show the costume of 3D effect on the show in September 14th. She says that all the details of the costume can be seen, while the show can see the same effect on the home computer.
In preparation for the show, she produced a short film and a clothing atlas, plus 3D technology so that people can bring red and blue 3D glasses to see the costumes in different forms.
But 3D's show still has some problems. Last year's Burberry autumn and winter show launched the 3D effect, and the comments received were mixed.
Zegna's 3-D show is also not very satisfactory because of the plation problem.
The Custo Barcelona brand is also planning to launch 3-D show next week, and the invitation cards will also need to wear 3D glasses to read.
Nicola Formichetti, the creative director of Mugler brand, came up with another kind of 3D effect.
He designed an image of Afanda for Mugler brand Mousika Zombie Boy, which will wear a Formichetti designed leather jacket to the fashion show.
Formichetti will make the show into a video on a 7 foot screen. The show can change the viewing angle and speed on the iPad without needing to wear 3D glasses.
