Zhejiang Convened Four Level Government Meeting To Help Small And Medium Enterprises Get Out Of Difficulties

On the afternoon of 7 th, the Zhejiang provincial government held a government teleconference on four levels of provincial, city, county (city, district), township (town) level, requiring government departments at all levels to further strengthen their own construction, speed up the pformation of their functions, and create a high-quality civil service team, and do everything possible to promote the settlement of small and medium sized enterprises.

Large and medium sized enterprises are a major feature of Zhejiang's economy.

Since then, SMEs in Zhejiang have faced severe challenges again.

With the increase of raw material prices and the rise of labor costs, especially the tight supply of funds and the rapid rise of financing costs, many small and medium-sized enterprises have been struggling. Some enterprises in Wenzhou have encountered unprecedented difficulties because of debt and financing problems.

Xia Baolong said that governments at all levels should vigorously advocate entrepreneurship and innovation and tackle tough problems. We must tackle tough problems in improving industrial competitiveness and accelerating economic pformation and upgrading, vigorously develop innovative economy, focus on promoting the development of high-end manufacturing and modern service industries, accelerate the pformation and upgrading of traditional industries, actively cultivate strategic emerging industries, and build a modern industrial system with Zhejiang characteristics.

We must unswervingly promote the great development of the private economy and gather the tremendous energy of the Zhejiang businessmen in the world to create a new prospect for Zhejiang's industrial upgrading.

In the face of difficulties faced by some small and medium-sized enterprises, governments at all levels in Zhejiang province have raised their awareness of service and have introduced many measures to help enterprises to solve practical problems.

In particular, we should strengthen public service and social management functions, and strive to improve the level of administration according to law.

In recent years, the province has pushed ahead with the reform of the administrative examination and approval system, and has abolished 518 non administrative licensing matters at the provincial level.
