Shuangcheng is a big cattle raising market in Heilongjiang Province, and is the main source of milk in China.
Reporters learned that the local dairy farmers are still basically using the old way of artificial milking.
The whole process lasted for 2-3 hours, and there were many unclosed links such as milking barrels, milk cans, milk station weighing tanks, milk station milk pots and milk station milk cans. Milk station workers even used nets to salvage impurities such as grass ends in milk pots.

Why does Nestle still insist on backward manual milking? The local dairy farmers say that the milk station is Nestle Company, Nestle is not equipped with mechanized equipment, let the dairy farmers themselves invest, and a new milking equipment needs seven thousand or eight thousand yuan, so the dairy farmers simply can not afford it.
Song Liang thinks Nestle does not want to spend more money on supporting facilities such as epidemic prevention and milking.
"It can be said that in the past 20 years, Nestle's demand for China's dairy industry is far greater than its investment."
According to Xinhua news agency, Nestle Company has 76 milk stations in Shuangcheng. If the investment is pformed into mechanized milk pumping station, each milk station will have to invest at least 1 million yuan and 76 milk stations for about 76 million yuan.
According to the performance report released by Nestle in October 20th, Nestle's business income increased by 7.3% to 60 billion 890 million Swiss francs in the first three quarters of 2011, and the growth of Asian performance was the main driving force.

However, such milk quality is doubtful of the value of money.
Song Liang said that Nestle's milk powder prices are not low.
In a second tier city, the price of Nestle milk powder is lower than that of pure imports, but higher than that of domestic products, mainly because Nestle's brand value is at play.
