In October, The Consumer Price Level Rose 5.5% Year-On-Year.

According to the data released by the National Bureau of statistics in November 9th, the national consumer price level rose by 5.5% over the same period in October 2011.

Among them, cities rose 5.4%, rural areas rose 5.9%, food prices rose 11.9%, non food prices rose 2.7%, consumer goods prices rose 6.6%, and services prices rose 2.8%.

The national consumer price level rose 0.1%.

Among them, the city rose 0.1%, the rural level was flat last month, food prices fell 0.2%, non food prices rose 0.2%, consumer goods prices rose 0.1%, and service items prices rose 0.2%.

In all kinds of goods, clothing prices rose 3.7% over the same period.

Among them, clothing prices rose 4% over the same period, and shoes prices rose 2.5% over the same period last year.

Compared with last month, the price of food decreased by 0.2% in October, affecting the overall price level by about 0.06 percentage points.

The increase in non food prices was 0.2%, affecting the consumer price level by about 0.15 percentage points.

Among them, clothing category prices rose 1.6%.
