The United States Will Help The Least Developed Countries More Fully Benefit From Global Trade.

"For decades, the United States has been a strong partner of the least developed countries. Ambassador Kirk said: "we hope to see these partners gain greater share in Global trade, overcome the restraining factors and achieve faster progress.

"This is why, even before announcing these new measures, the United States has been one of the largest single countries providing trade related technical assistance, which is why President Obama has established a partnership with developing countries, including the least developed countries, which is a key component of his trade agenda. Earlier this year, the United States announced new African competitiveness and trade expansion measures, as well as a trade facilitation partnership implemented through the United States Agency for international development.
