South China Agricultural University Held An Exhibition Of Costume Experts' Art

Recently, the art school of South China Agricultural University invited Professor Li Wei, Academy of Fine Arts professor of Sichuan, and Aguilar, a collector of clothing of Yi nationality, to hold a joint exhibition of costume art at the Art Museum of South China Agricultural University college.

Professor Li Wei is famous in China.

Mr. Aguilar has long devoted himself to the collection of Yi People's clothing in mountain areas such as Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Chongqing. He has made an in-depth study of the Yi nationality's clothing, and his achievements have been well received by many experts from the Yi nationality at home and abroad.

In this exhibition, Mr. Aguilar exhibited the Yi nationality of Liangshan type, Honghe type, Wu Meng Shan type, Southeast Yunnan type, western Yunnan type and Chuxiong type.

From the perspective of traditional cultural elements and ethnic costumes, the joint exhibition explores the integration of traditional costumes and modern costumes of Chinese minorities.

The theme of the joint exhibition is consistent with the theme of the Guangdong national costume and Art Museum of the art academy, and plays a positive role in promoting the exchanges between museums and the outside world.

At present, the Guangdong national costume art museum is the only museum in Guangdong province to upgrade the clothing and clothing. It is also one of the few professional exhibition galleries based on the 56 traditional costumes of China.

The museum integrates teaching, experiment and research, and is an important unit for the protection of intangible cultural heritages of traditional costumes.

This joint exhibition is closely related to the care of leaders and departments of South China Agricultural University. It is a full affirmation of the leadership and professional teachers of the Academy of art.
