Jining Leather Industry Association To Revitalize The Industrial Development Plan

In December 28th, the heads of the Jining District Committee, the government and relevant departments and members of the Leather Industry Association gathered to speak freely to discuss the revitalization of the leather goods industry.

Jining has a long history of leather processing, and its abundant resources around the border have laid a solid foundation for the leather industry.

Due to the influence of market changes at home and abroad, and the deficiency of our product structure, technology level, processing technology and industry management, the development of leather goods industry in our region is slow.

In order to revitalize the leather industry in Jining, improve the degree of organization of the industry, and implement industry self-discipline, the regional leather and animal husbandry industry office took the lead and extensively absorbed practitioners engaged in the production and processing of small leather goods and the sale of raw and auxiliary materials. The Jining Leather Goods Industry Association was established.

Through the discussion, we all agreed that we should make full use of the popularity and industrial foundation of the leather industry in Jining, learn from the successful experience of the advanced leather industry, and develop the small leather processing with leather gloves as the dominant industry of the regional economy and the leading industry of enriching the people in employment.

Through policy pull, market drive, technology promotion, open introduction and management guidance, we will make great efforts to cultivate leading enterprises, leather goods market and industry brand, and walk out of the sustainable development road of leather goods industry that is in line with the actual situation of Jining, and build a small leather processing and sales base in the central and western regions and even the whole country, and make Jining a famous city of leather goods in the north.
