Entrepreneurs of slippers also hope that the government will immediately implement a downstream plan for the slippers industry, "he said.

He continued that the domestic slippers industry still encountered expensive pport costs and inadequate infrastructure.

"In order to enhance the competitiveness of the domestic slippers industry in the international market, the government must build more ports to speed up the freight pport process," he said.
