The design of this costume design exhibition is selected by the academy after the preliminary contest, and it is the outstanding designer from 51 series of works. It includes 30 series of costumes of all kinds of costumes, and is performed by the students of costume design and performing specialty.

This year, every school that has not participated in the fashion week for the first time will decide to qualify for the first 2012 in the Guangzhou International Light Textile City, the second best competition of the Guangdong college students' design contest, and compete for the promotion of "60 into 25".

Gao Jiaqi, the No. 7 runner in Guangdong Baiyun University, designs the knight, and the runner 12 has designed the "Alps rolling stones". The runner 19, Hong Jiechun, has won the semi-finals admission ticket.

The school of art and architecture of Guangdong Baiyun University is a two level college founded on the basis of the original Department of art design and architectural engineering. It has been a professional since 1999.

The Institute has an art design department, an industrial design department, a fashion department, an animation department, an architectural department, a civil engineering department, an experimental teaching center, a Sino Korean design institute, a student science and technology innovation center, and a student internship employment guidance center.

The Institute has a total of 3000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students, and more than 500 adult education undergraduate and junior college students. It has formed a school running pattern with large scale, strong teachers, reasonable professional settings, adequate teaching resources, talent training mode and social needs.

The Institute has 112 full-time teachers, 32 part-time teachers, 16 full-time instructors and 18 full-time teaching assistants.

Among them, 19 professors, 43 associate professors or 43 high professional titles, 48 lecturers or intermediate titles, 16 assistants or junior professional titles, 81% with doctorate and master's degree, 55% teachers with double qualifications.

The college has eight undergraduate specialties: 1. art design (video and digital design direction, advertising design direction, new media art design direction, interior design direction); 2. industrial design (product design direction, furniture and home product design direction); 3. garment design and Engineering (clothing design and engineering, footwear design and engineering direction, fashion design and performance direction); 4. animation; 5. architecture; 6. civil engineering; 7. engineering cost; 8. engineering management and so on 14 undergraduate majors and directions.

The Institute adheres to the path of school enterprise cooperation and the combination of industry, University and research, and has close ties or cooperative relations with many famous professional institutions, large enterprises and industrial fields at home and abroad.

The college has established an internship and employment partnership with more than 250 enterprises and institutions in the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong. There are 106 out of school practice bases and 22 teaching bases outside the school.

The college has set up eight professional steering committees in professional units. The specialty of art design has been selected as an undergraduate specialty in Guangdong province.

In recent years, the design works of college teachers have won more than 100 awards in the design competition at home and abroad, and more than 300 teaching and research papers have been published in the national core journals and professional academic journals at or above the provincial level, and more than 40 professional works and teaching materials have been officially published. The design works of students have won more than 1000 gold, silver, bronze and excellent awards in the design contest both at home and abroad. Among them, more than 100 provincial and ministerial level awards have been awarded, 300 of which have been awarded municipal and departmental awards, and more than 800 students have been designed by enterprises and institutions.

The Institute has 8 top quality courses at the school level, 1 provincial top quality courses, 8 provincial research projects, 33 scientific research projects at the university level, and 40 scientific research projects across the border.
