    In the face of the current situation of foreign brands occupying the Chinese market and the massive pfer of Chinese wealth to foreign brands, with the strong support of the China Science and Technology Development Strategy Institute of the Ministry of science and technology, the Heng Yuan Xiang group and the Institute of industrial economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences have established strategic cooperative relations with the Institute of industrial economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and jointly launched the national soft science research project "national brand strategy research" project, hoping to explore the way of national brand building, arouse national attention to the national brand, so as to thoroughly improve the market system and environment for the survival and development of Chinese brands, provide good guidance and reference for the formulation and implementation of China's national brand strategy, and promote the revitalization and development of Chinese brands.


    The project not only officially opened the prelude to national brand research, but also marked the birth of the first domestic organization for systematic research on national brands.

    The project of "national brand strategy research" has been implemented since March 2011. After a year of unremitting exploration, it has passed the acceptance of the Ministry of science and technology successfully. The leadership highly appraised the project to achieve the three "first time" in Chinese History: the first time to regard the "national brand" as a national soft science research subject; the first time it conducted a comprehensive, multi angle and comprehensive study of the national brand; the first time, the national soft science research was carried out jointly by enterprises and research institutions.


    The relevant research results of the "national brand strategy research" project have been compiled into the first book to study the national brand of the national brand strategy research. The book focuses on the critical period of China's pformation and development. The first in-depth analysis of the internal structure, influencing factors and formation mechanism of the national brand, comprehensively expounds the strategic position and role of the national brand, compares and combs the experiences and practices of the developed countries and regions.

    At the same time, based on field research, literature review and quantitative analysis, the paper explores and analyzes the economic foundation, institutional environment, branding organization and the main obstacles that may be faced in the construction of national brand. With the government guidance, innovation atmosphere, independent innovation, policy support and external exchanges as the breakthrough point, it outlines the basic path and core links of China's national brand construction, and puts forward policy orientation and countermeasures accordingly, which is forward-looking and policy value.

    The book was officially published today and met with readers.
