The naturalness of Hanfu development is also the basis for the inheritance of a traditional costume of a nation, that is, the proper development and evolution of a certain thing or culture under its own normal development track.

Under this definition, in ancient China, except for the Qing Dynasty, the clothes worn by the Han people before the end of the Ming Dynasty could be called Hanfu, regardless of their styles, regions, integration, differentiation and development.
