    CAS mainly includes: the electronic management of raw cotton storage based on bar code, the classification and grouping of cotton bags based on HVI data, the optimization of automatic cotton blending, the packing of cotton bags and the prediction of cotton yarn quality.

    CAS can realize the electronic management of raw cotton storage, optimize cotton blending scheme, predict cotton yarn quality through cotton distribution results, and provide reference scheme for raw cotton procurement according to spinning requirements.

    The application practice shows that CAS can predict yarn quality, and measures can be taken in a targeted way to optimize cotton blending plan, improve labor efficiency and reduce production cost.


    Since 1982, the US Cotton Corp has extended the optimized cotton blending management system (EngineeredFiberSelection, hereinafter referred to as EFS) to the cotton mill. Up to now, all textile enterprises in the United States have managed, through the EFS system, the purchase, pportation, storage and matching management of cotton, so as to achieve uniform stabilization of cotton distribution.

    Zhengzhou Chao Ge spinning Co., Ltd. began to apply the system in 2007. They have done EFS and artificial cotton contrast test, and used the same batch of American cotton and the same process conditions to spin JC18.2tex knitting yarn. The results showed that the EFS cotton blending technology has good stability, consistency and consistency.

    The yarn strength and cotton consumption were also better, and no pverse phenomenon was observed.

    At the same time, EFS can also provide reference for the next purchase of raw cotton, avoid excessive purchase and save liquidity.

    In order to better meet the product quality requirements, control the production cost and maximize the economic benefits, we must aim at the quality requirements of different products, and combine the experience cotton distribution and the cotton assorting with the cotton according to the HVI data of raw cotton.
