Reporters learned from Houjie yesterday that one of the ten major economic construction projects that the town has built this year, the world shoe industry (Asia) headquarters base project has completed the planning of the 10 major functional areas of the 1 courtyard. It plans to start construction in July this year and invest in two phases in three years.

The project cost 160 million yuan to build carefully. According to the project builder, the base covers a total area of 180 thousand square meters, with a total construction area of 400 thousand square meters. The total investment is estimated to be about 160 million US dollars. The planning and construction have the "10 major functional areas of the 1 hospitals", and will focus on creating two major functional areas, namely, the international finished shoes purchase and purchase center and the international shoe trade center.

The first phase of the project is a total of 200 thousand square meters. The main construction projects include the "product shoe display and procurement center, the new material and new technology distribution center, the international footwear high-end talent exchange training center" and other 10 major life and industrial service centers. It is expected that the construction will be completed in the first half of next year.

The core body of the shoe industry development institute, the world shoe industry (Asia) headquarters base, is the "Dongguan International Footwear Development Research Institute".

It is understood that the project investor Huarui group will cooperate with the Swiss Confederation technology and Innovation Committee (CTI) to build the Research Institute and develop a new technological innovation platform. The two sides will cooperate in the new mold development technology, shoe manufacturing technology development, personnel training and output.

According to the introduction, CTI is an innovation promotion institution affiliated with the Swiss government. It is mainly committed to the pfer and pformation of knowledge and technology from university to enterprise. It has been serving for more than 60 years and is one of the most successful institutions in Europe.

At present, the agency has annual research and development expenditure of 120 million Swiss francs, averaging hundreds of projects annually.

To promote the upgrading and pformation of Houjie shoe industry, "in order to promote the upgrading and pformation of Houjie shoe industry, our town wants to build a shoe industry town and shoe industry cluster demonstration area, and is relying on the Asian shoe industry headquarters base to create a public service innovation platform."

The director of Houjie Town said that the location of the base is shoe research and development, trade, brand incubation, logistics Asia headquarters, and the development of new materials, new products and the opening of new markets.
