The ceremonial awarding ceremony was held in Fumian management area of Yulin. The China Textile Industry Federation and the China Clothing Association awarded the title of "China leisure clothing city" in Fumian management area.

This is the first city in Southwest China to win this honor. This indicates that the Fumian management area has achieved fruitful results in implementing the strategy of branding and scale development of the garment industry.

Garment industry is a traditional industry of Fu Mian, and it has been developing for more than 30 years.

In recent years, according to the advantages of garment industry, Fumian management area has made great efforts to develop leisure clothing industry, issued a policy document on speeding up the development of garment industry and other policy documents to support and promote the development of the garment industry, and strengthened the soft environment construction of policies, services and management; formulated the strategic plan for the development of China's Fu Mei clothing brand, and encouraged and guided the specialization and scale of garment enterprises.

We should intensify the construction of the park and strive to develop the garment industrial area into an industrial park with high industrial concentration, prominent main industries, strong industrial carrying capacity and obvious driving ability, and promote the cluster development of the garment industry; hold the "Fu mien clothing culture festival", the promotion conference, the investment Promotion Association, intensify publicity efforts, and establish the brand image of Fu Mian clothing.

Through a series of planning and strategy to promote development, Fu Mian clothing enterprises have bid farewell to family workshop production, and stepped onto the road of modern industrial development.

At present, Fumian's garment making enterprises have developed to more than 1600, with more than 400 supporting enterprises, and 210 million garments (sets) each year, with an annual output value of 4 billion 700 million yuan, achieving annual sales income of 5 billion 800 million yuan, and it has become the largest leisure clothing production base in Southwest China.

The increasing popularity of Fumian casual wear in domestic and overseas markets has attracted wide attention from Chinese and foreign media. In 2004, it was praised as "the world pants capital" by the French media.
