Canepa said that the Para state assembly established the Bazhong friendship front last year to further strengthen the relationship between para and China, and the government has also set up an international liaison office to strengthen ties with some countries including China.

She said that as one of the most important administrative regions in the Amazon region, the people of para Prefecture are rich in rare earth and broad resources. Besides the exceptionally abundant forest and land resources, they also have large reserves of iron ore resources and can cooperate with China in developing mining and bio energy.

In addition, the capital of para city is located at the mouth of the Amazon River, and the traffic is very convenient. The Chinese business community can also cooperate with the development of ports in Para state.

Canepa believes that para has many experience in agriculture and bio energy, and can share it with the Chinese side, while the Chinese side can help Para state further develop its infrastructure.

She said she had regretted that she had not yet had the opportunity to visit China.

In 2006, she received an invitation to visit China, but failed because of a minor accident.

In 2007, she postponed her visit to China again for two minor operations.

Canepa said: "visiting China is my priority this year. I strive to realize this wish in the second half of the year.

I will lead many Para state leaders to identify the most worthwhile development projects.

At the same time, we will also seek to develop political and cultural ties with China. "

Para is located in the north of Brazil, with 6 million people, 1/3 of which are concentrated near the city of Beilun.
