 Pan Hongxing grew up in rural Yongjia. In the late 60s of last century, he was just 18 years old. He wanted to do some sideline enrichment when he was slack off. He came to Longwan to follow a relative to start apprenticeship and learn to make cloth shoes and leather shoes. Two years later, he worked as a worker in the Yongjia leather goods factory at the time and began to hone from being a factory master. At that time, shoes were all made by hand, and every person had to decide what to do. Pan Hongxing said that at that time, the master teaching apprentice skill was reserved, and the master would not tell you all about it. He contacted every aspect of shoemaking and could make a pair of shoes independently. In a few years, he also took his apprentice and began to make shoe samples. 
 1995, the Red Dragonfly Footwear Company was founded, and Pan Hongxing took the role of shoe consultant and walked together with the enterprises. He said that the Red Dragonfly had not built its own factory when it was first established, and it was small in size. Some friends were helping to operate, and the shoemaking process was all hand made. 18 years later, the scale of the company is bigger and bigger. In many parts of the country, it has its own production base. Almost all products are pipelined. The change is too great. 
During the Red Dragonfly period, Pan Hongxing worked in injection molding shoes production, science and technology laboratory and other departments in P. With his witness to the historical evolution of shoemaking technology, Pan Hongxing participated in the construction of corporate culture exhibition hall. Over the years, he has collected various kinds of shoe making materials and equipment for the Red Dragonfly science and Technology Museum, which has greatly enriched the contents of the collection.
