    The reason may be that children's home textiles are quite strict in terms of color fastness, formaldehyde content, environmental protection certification and so on, which virtually increases the production cost of children's textiles and improves the entry threshold for children's home textiles market.

    Consumers are more "picky", and most other agents do not have children's home textiles.

    Is there really no market for children's home textiles?

    For this reason, reporters visited some consumers.

    Miss Zhang is a white-collar company. She has been married for over a year without any children.

    "With children, I will buy children's belongings belonging to him (her)."

    But Miss Zhang also stressed that when buying, it will be very careful, such as product environmental standards, whether there are rich colors, patterns, and so on. "I think these are very important for children's health and intellectual development."

    Miss Zhang said that she would go to a special store if she wanted to buy it, and would like to have professional guidance.

    The advertisement designer, Li duo, from Shanghai, thinks more carefully. "I will buy it for my child, but the material of the quilt, what material is in it, what kind of material is there, whether there are lovely patterns or patterns, these are all carefully considered."

    Li duo said that quality and safety are of course the most important, but the size is also a factor to consider.

    Among the ten married women interviewed by reporters, 60% will buy children's home textiles for children, but the most consideration is product safety, quality and color design.

    At present, the relatively perfect home textile specialty stores, specialized children's home textile stores are very poor.

    In 2008, the US Cotton Corp completed the latest home textile products survey.

    The Praxi group (Kittredge, CO) sampled 800 women aged between 25 and 70 in the United States. They represented different regions, income groups and educational backgrounds. They were the main buyers of household textile products in the family.

    Of the 800 women, 403 women had children under 18 years of age.

    Of the surveyed women, 42% recently purchased home textile products for children, a significant increase from 29% in 2006.

    In contrast, China's children's home textile market still needs to be vigorously developed.

    The increasing demand of consumers also requires businesses to improve their products in many aspects such as product development and market sales. The market prospect of children's home textiles is still optimistic.
