On the one hand, we must solve the large amount of fiber resources, and on the other hand, realize the development and industrialization of high technology fibers. The improvement of energy saving and reduction and recycling of resources is an important guarantee for the textile industry to win social and policy identity and to obtain sustainable development space; the textile basic research supporting the development of industry should be both soft and hard; and we should pay attention to the textile and clothing technology that leads to a new higher level of consumption desire.

Peng Yanli, director of the Ministry of science and technology development of the China Federation of textile industry, introduced 224 items of textile science and technology awards this year when he introduced the relevant conditions of the textile science and technology award this year. After formal examination, there were 212 items of composite assessment requirements, including 48 textile projects, 57 items of chemical fiber industry, 32 printing and dyeing projects, 41 items of mechanical automation projects, and 33 items of standard soft science.
