Shortlist Of The Fifteenth Humen Cup International Youth Design Competition Final

In August 18th, the first evaluation of the fifteenth Humen Cup International Youth Design (women's wear) competition held in Guangzhou was held in Guangzhou. After the rigorous selection of the jury, finally 30 outstanding Chinese and foreign athletes came to the fore and won the tickets for the finals of the "Cup".

The theme of this year's "Humen Cup" is "era dream", which means that this is an era full of passion and a dream of achievement. The fashion kingdom, who is competing with each other? Life is brilliant because of struggle and the times are wonderful because of dreams. It aims to encourage young designers to turn their passion into dreams and become the heroes of the age.

The fifteenth "Humen Cup" International Youth Design (women's wear) competition, a gorgeous stage to realize the youth dream, is an art hall that deducts the charm of dress. It has sounded the clarion call of "era dream", and has been soliciting contributions from all over the world, attracting young designers from all over the world to come to the stage.

According to statistics, the Organizing Committee of this competition has received entries from 2650 athletes from 14 countries and regions, including China, Czech, Britain, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Holland, Indonesia, Malaysia and Korea.

Adhering to the principle of "fairness, openness and impartiality", this preliminary assessment has hired the vice president of the China Fashion Designers Association, Liu Yang, President of the Guangdong Fashion Designers Association, and the top 3 honorary "Golden Summit" winner Li Xiaoyan, the top ten fashion designer in China.

In this review, the judges made a comprehensive review of the entries from the aspects of work creativity, design concept, color, fabric, clothing structure and modeling, process design and so on.

After more than 4 hours of selection by the judges, 30 outstanding players from Britain, Ukraine, Germany, Indonesia, Holland, Czech, Malaysia, Hongkong, Macao and Mainland China reached the finals. 8 of the entries were from overseas contestants, and 22 of them came from national competitors.

The judges agreed that the "Humen Cup" International Youth Design (women's wear) competition, as one of the most influential international design competitions in China, has set up a valuable platform for the exchange and collision of fashion design thinking at home and abroad. It has become the stage for young designers to display design creativity and realize fashion dreams. In the past more than 10 years, a large number of excellent women designers have been excavated and cultivated, which has made important contributions to the development of women's clothing industry at home and abroad.

In an interview with reporters, judge Liu Yang said that this year's works incorporate more "new" elements, of which "color" is the biggest highlight of the year.

This year's entries are bold and vigorous in color. They are very different from the black, white and grey that they used to pay attention to in previous years. On the design, this year, we smoothly change the heavy structure and small structure from the past schools, seize the fashionable tentacles, apply patterns to fabrics, use high-tech means to apply fabrics to clothing, pay attention to the combination of practicality and artistry, and better reflect the concept of simplicity, fashion and color.

Many years in China (Humen) International Fashion Fair released a personal show of senior fashion designer and the current "Humen Cup" commentator Lin Zi Yu said that this year's works from the past heavy shape to heavy color, popular patterns, the sense of the times is very close to the "era dream" theme.

At the same time, she suggested that competitors should pay more attention to fashion trends and fabrics, so as to design new clothing with strong sense of the times.
