In The First Half Of The Year, Silk Export Declined Considerably.

According to the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of commerce data, 1~5 months, China's silk products exports declined significantly, silk and silk fabrics.

The total export status of silk products and silk fabrics is as follows:

Sericulture exports: 1~5 months, China's total exports of 5410.3 tons of silk goods, down 15.68% compared to the same period, the average unit price of 48.05 U.S. dollars / kg, an increase of 9.43% over the same period last year.

The top five export markets were India, Italy, Japan, Romania and Vietnam, accounting for 28.99%, 12.7%, 12.54%, 9.51% and 8.82% respectively.

The total export volume was 259 million 952 thousand US dollars, down 7.73% from the same period last year.

Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Guangxi, Guangdong and Sichuan ranked the top six in terms of export volume. The market share was 30.63%, 21.06%, 11.75%, 11.44%, 6.45% and 5.81% respectively.

Sichuan's silk exports amounted to US $15 million 111 thousand, down 36.03% from the same period last year, and the export volume was 304.3 tons, down 34.18% from the same period last year.

Export of silks and silk: 1~5 months, China's total export volume of silk fabrics was 46 million 815 thousand meters, down 7.22% from the same period last year, the average unit price was 5.24 US dollars / m, up 1.92% compared with the same period last year, and the total export volume was 245 million 401 thousand US dollars, down 5.43% compared with the same period last year.

The top five export markets are Italy, Pakistan, India, Korea and Hongkong, and the market share is 26.8%, 19.39%, 12.06%, 7.89% and 5.54% respectively.

The top five provinces and cities are Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan and Qinghai. The export volume of five provinces and cities is 8130.1, 3438.7, 2792.2, 2639.6, and 25 million 885 thousand US dollars respectively.

The total export volume of five provinces and cities accounted for 79.83% of total exports.

The export volume of Sichuan's silk fabrics was 5 million 730 thousand meters, down 9.88% from the same period, accounting for 12.24%, and the export unit price was 4.61 US dollars / meter, up 5.36% over the same period last year.

Silk clothing exports: 1~5 months, China's total exports of 40 million 754 thousand pieces of silk clothing, down 73.69% compared to the same period, exports amounted to $410 million 756 thousand, down 27.94% over the same period last year.

The top five export markets are the United States, Hongkong, Japan, Spain and Germany. Their market share is 38.11%, 9.7%, 7.43%, 5.22% and 4.92% respectively.

The top five provinces and cities in export volume are Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Sichuan, and the five market accounts for 87.55% of the total share.

The number of exports in Sichuan was 3 million 3 thousand units, down 78.73% from the same period last year, accounting for 7.37%, with an export volume of US $10 million 639 thousand, down 62% from the same period last year.

Exports of silk products: 1~5 months, China's silk manufactures accumulated 79 million 360 thousand export conditions and sets, down 60.98% compared to the same period last year, and the export amount was 610 million 93 thousand US dollars, down 23.4% compared with the same period last year.

The top five export markets are the United States, Japan, Hongkong, Germany and Spain.

The market share is 35.7%, 9.13%, 7.04%, 5.14% and 4.08% respectively.

The top six provinces and cities in export volume are Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Jiangxi and Sichuan.

Exports from six provinces and cities accounted for 86.26% of total exports.

The 3 million 862 thousand conditions and sets of Sichuan's export silk manufactures decreased by 74.88% compared with the same period last year, and the export amount was 16 million 616 thousand US dollars, down 52.82% from the same period last year, accounting for 2.72%.

Silk exports: 1~5 months, China

The total export volume was 1 billion 246 million 920 thousand US dollars, down 15% compared to the same period last year.

Among them, silk exports amounted to 259 million 804 thousand and 200 US dollars, down 7.78% compared to the same period last year, and exports of silk fabrics were US $376 million 876 thousand and 300, down 3.05% compared with the same period last year. The export of silk products was US $610 million 92 thousand and 800, down 23.4% compared to the same period last year.

The top five export markets are: the United States, Italy, India, Japan and Pakistan, and the five market accounts for 53.14% of the total export volume of China's silk products.

The top five provinces and cities in export volume are Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shanghai and Sichuan, and the market share is 41.22%, 12.98%, 9.94%, 8.51%, 6.18%.

The export volume of real silk commodities was 77 million 33 thousand US dollars, down 20.88% from the same period last year, accounting for 6.18%.
