The Quality Supervision Bureau of Anhui Province announced the results of the product quality supervision and inspection 16 days ago. The quality of bedding products is worrying.

Bedding special supervision and spot checks in Hefei, Chaohu and Suzhou altogether 40 groups of winter bedding products, involving four categories of bedsheets, quilt pillowcases, all kinds of core and pillow core products, were tested and qualified 20 groups. Among the 20 groups of unqualified samples, 5 groups of samples belonged to the product label quality was not qualified, but the physical quality was qualified, the physical examination qualified rate was 62.5%.

The main indicators of this sampling inspection are: product label quality, formaldehyde content, pH value, decomposable aromatic amine, water fastness and so on 11 items.

The results of spot checks showed that the formaldehyde content and decomposable aromatic amine of all products were the 2 most closely related parameters of human health. All the problems were more prominent: pH exceeded the standard, fiber content did not conform to the label, dry friction color fastness was not qualified, label label was not standardized, and wash size change rate exceeded standard.

Guide to consumption: when purchasing a winter bedding, consumers should carefully check the logo, fiber content label, product execution standard, washing method, product quality grade, factory inspection certificate, factory name, factory site, object quality and so on. Try not to buy products with incomplete logo contents, and purchase products from well-known textile enterprises or products that are certified by ISO9000 as far as possible. Only in this way can we ensure quality and reliable bedding.
