In 2012, Peng Hao went to Gansu with his tutor to sample groundwater.

Along the way, a little boy saw a visitor enter the house and enthusiastically placed a glass of water from the bucket on the table.

After a while, Peng Hao noticed that the water in the cup was still cloudy after settling, and the bottom of the cup was even earth.

"Can the water drink?" Peng Hao could not help asking.

This cloudy drinking water has brought a great impact to Peng Hao. After visiting, he found that the water source in the village had been in such a long time. Many villagers knew that the water was not clean, but they had no choice.

The desire for healthy drinking water in remote mountainous areas has shocked Peng Hao.

So he secretly decided to adjust the research direction to drinking water purification.

Academicians recommend enterprises willing to go out

In March 2013, in the closing ceremony of the academic exchange of the State Key Laboratory of biological geology and environmental geology, Yuan Daoxian, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, openly recommended the water purification technology based on geological materials by academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

This new water purification technology, which was held in the challenge cup competition in October last year, has also attracted the attention of Wuhan Institute of geology, resources, environment and industrial technology.

In April this year, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement. The Institute invested 1 million 500 thousand yuan to help the team develop its products.

Xiong Gang, Minister of industry technology, also said that the company is about to help the team launch a new round of investment and financing, which is expected to be around 15 million yuan.
