October 31St: Cotton Prices Fell Overall

In October 31st, the price of imported cotton fell overall, of which Central Asia cotton fell 1.25 cents, India cotton fell 0.75 cents, and other varieties fell 0.2-0.35 cents.

According to USDA data, the contract volume of US cotton 4 million tons last week is better than expected, but shipment is still slow, especially in China, which is obviously insufficient. On the one hand, the new cotton market in the United States is not large enough, and the number of forward contracts is excessive. On the other hand, China's inventory is low in demand and the textile factory is not willing to replenish its stock.

As the US cotton and India cotton are facing high yields, the long-term trend of cotton prices continues to bearish.
