This year, affected by the downturn of the downstream textile market, China's textile machinery enterprises generally declined in orders and profits declined, and sales in the market fell into a low ebb.

How long will this situation last? Can there be any change next year? How can enterprises plan for future production? More than 100 heads of textile machinery enterprises participated in the Symposium on the production and management of the textile machinery industry held in Kunming, Yunnan on 9~10 December, with these questions.

In the first three quarters of this year, the textile machinery industry realized its main business income of 83 billion 365 million yuan, an increase of 3.87% over the same period last year, and realized a total profit of 4 billion 767 million yuan, a decrease of 325 million yuan compared with the same period last year. The deficit of loss making enterprises was 521 million yuan, an increase of 57.04% over the previous year, with a loss of 18.17%.

In the first three quarters, the total import and export volume of textile machinery was US $5 billion 418 million, an increase of 8.29% over the same period last year.

Among them, exports of US $2 billion 303 million, an increase of 24.21% over the same period, and imports of US $3 billion 115 million, down 1.08% from the same period last year.

From the first three quarters of this year's market sales situation, cotton spinning equipment sales are the most affected.

Sales of spinning frame, rotor spinning machine, automatic winding machine and blowing carding unit decreased by more than 30%.

At the same time, the proportion of full-length automatic roving machine, coarse and fine connection system, and automatic spinning doffing of long spinning and pallet automatic winding machines is gradually expanding. The sales volume of equipment with high speed, high efficiency, high yield and high automation is relatively large.

Not only the spinning equipment, but also the sales of chemical fiber, nonwovens, knitted, weaving and other equipment are showing the high-end equipment and more popular with users.

The demand pattern of this product has become the norm of the spinning machine market.

Another feature of sales is the huge increase in export orders.

In the first three quarters, the export of textile machinery reached US $2 billion 303 million, an increase of 24.21% over the same period last year, especially in Bangladesh and Vietnam. The export volume is expected to exceed US $3 billion in the whole year.

At the meeting, Gao Yong, vice chairman and Secretary General of China Textile Industry Federation and honorary director of China Textile machinery and equipment industry association, analyzed the overall operation of the textile industry and the development trend in the future.

Gao Yong said that the slowdown in growth rate, the drop in demand at home and abroad, and the increase of labor cost elements all forced the restructuring of China's textile industry to accelerate, and in order to maintain and enhance competitiveness, labor productivity must be improved.

Since the beginning of this year, many provinces in China have put forward the slogan of "machine substitution", and the trend of less humanization, automation and intellectualization has become the consensus of equipment development.

This requires that textile machinery enterprises should pay close attention to the development trend of textile industry, quickly adjust product structure and grasp the direction of marketing.

Gao Yong stressed in particular that enterprises should turn to spinning, chemical fiber and dyeing and printing equipment to develop and produce needles, Spunlaced needles for non-woven fabrics as soon as possible.

These equipment will bring higher value-added to the enterprises, such as equipment and special weaving equipment for processing industrial textiles.
