In recent days, Hunan Changde Anxiang county supply and Marketing Association and Anxiang investigation team formed a joint.

The cotton picking, inventory and sale of 20 farmers in 9 townships in Anxiang county and the acquisition and operation of some cotton enterprises and cotton traders were investigated in detail.

First, the current cotton farmers' difficulty in selling cotton is worrying.

1. Cotton picking is coming to an end, and mu yield is expected to decrease substantially over the previous year.

20 cotton farmers in the survey included 202.1 acres of cotton, 20% less than last year, and cotton growers estimated that the average yield per mu was 341 Jin, which was 24.2% lower than the average yield of 450 kg in the whole county last year.

Considering the conservative factors of cotton production in recent years, it is estimated that the average yield of cotton in Anxiang county will be around 390 Jin this year, 13.3% less than last year.

Of the 20 households surveyed, 6 of the total cotton was harvested, and the remaining 14 households could pick up 2012 kilograms in the estimated area, accounting for 2.9% of the total households estimated by the survey households.

2. Cotton farmers only account for 4% of the total cotton output.

Of the 20 cotton farmers surveyed, only 1 sold cotton, 8 cotton farmers in Dujia village, Ankang Township, and sold 2730 kg of cotton, accounting for 4% of the total cotton output of the survey households. The selling price was 3 yuan / kg, and the sale amount was 8190 yuan, which was sold to local cotton traders.

According to him, there are 5 households selling cotton to dealers in their group, of which two are cash settled, priced at 3 yuan / Jin, and the other 3 are "consignment", which is about to be handed over to the dealers after weighing the cotton, not giving the living money or the price, and then settling according to the market price.

Taking into account the "consignment" factor, it is estimated that cotton farmers in our county have about 90% of the cotton stored at home.

3, a large number of cotton is stored at home, which has many negative effects on cotton farmers' life and psychology.

If market cotton prices continue to slump, it is still on the decline. Cotton will not continue to sell. Cotton growers are tight and nervous. They will feel uncomfortable at home. They will worry about cotton and smoke, fire and firecrackers.

Cotton can not be stored in the house. It is a luxury to make a house and decorate a house. It should be economical and frugal in all aspects of food, clothing and other aspects. The agricultural funds and other funds on credit are afraid of the creditors' recovery. They can only stand up and carry on when they are sick. The cotton growers' life is difficult, and it will also affect the whole country's economic depression, the market is not active, and the purchasing power is reduced.

4, the majority of cotton is not "four points", strictly affecting the quality of cotton in Anxiang county.

Of the 20 households surveyed, only 3 households had simply classified the flowers and the flowers separately, and the remaining 17 cotton farmers were stored in mixed grades.

Asking cotton growers why they do not engage in "four points", they say, "four points" spend energy, spend time, and invest workers in trouble. Originally, the houses are small, separate storage is more occupied, and dealers spend a lot of time on household visits.

It is cotton growers who have "sold separately", and some dealers will add flowers to the ginning plants.

These are the important factors that affect the quality of cotton in Anxiang county.

This year, China's cotton market operation has become inevitable. As far as possible, the quality and competitiveness of cotton will be improved. It will become an important topic for cotton farmers, cotton enterprises, cotton producers, cotton related departments and grass-roots organizations in Anxiang county. It will become an important issue that must be solved as soon as possible for the sustainable development of cotton industry.

5, because of early reluctant sale, cotton farmers have lost an optimal cotton sale period.

12 cotton enterprises, which have purchased 72500 cotton seeds and 1378 tons of lint cotton, have sold 585 tons, accounting for 42.5% of the purchase volume.

Among them, 3 200 type cotton enterprises bought all over 10000 Li, and 3 bought 47400 cotton seeds altogether, accounting for 65.4% of the total 12 cotton enterprises purchased.

2, understand the cotton enterprise management situation, they mostly reflect loss.

In the early days, the average purchase price of cotton enterprises in Anxiang county was between 3.1-3.22 yuan / Jin, saw tooth lint 37%-39%, leather roller lint 41%-42%, moisture below 15%, and the main grade was four level.

Due to the abolition of the temporary purchase and storage policy, the cotton market has dropped sharply, and cotton prices have fallen sharply in the last paragraph. The cotton sold by some cotton enterprises has lost a little bit of money, and the losses have not been sold out. The loss is a foregone conclusion.

The Xinghu cotton growing industry is a 200 type cotton enterprise. Last year, it was able to operate. Last year, it started to weigh early, and bought a total of 12000 tons of seed cotton. As a result of actively expanding the market and not gambling, it sold 180 tons of lint and accounted for 75% of the purchase.

In addition to labor costs and interest expenses, the cotton sold out is not profitable. The average price of the initial acquisition is 3.1 yuan / kg, which is the lowest in the whole county. Because of the sharp drop in cotton prices in the recent market, the 3000 seed bearing cotton in the factory will surely lose much.

Yunnan brocade cotton industry is a 400 cotton enterprise in our county, which has been operating in recent years.

In my county, cotton enterprises are outstanding, this year has acquired 3100 cotton load, the acquisition of an average price of 3.13 yuan / Jin, sales of 46 tons of cotton, sales income, after the purchase cost, processing costs and interest, net loss of more than 40 thousand yuan, the factory still have a point of stock, and certainly will lose.

The 200 type cotton enterprises are enjoying the benefit of the farmers' trade. This year, they have purchased 20000 cotton seeds and the average price is 3.2 yuan / Jin, the lint percentage is 39%, the moisture content is around 14%, and 200 tons of lint cotton have been sold, and more than 100 tons of lint are still stored in the factory.

According to the current selling price, it may lose more than 200 thousand yuan, and the stock can not find a sale at the time of lint.

3, cotton is not "four points", quality will not go, affect Anxiang County cotton sales and cotton enterprises efficiency.

This year, Anxiang County cotton quality is still good, such as "four points" to do well, can be rolled out 70% of the lighter cotton grade two (four points stronger than the original, three grade to be weak), this grade of cotton in China's cotton market is still good, has the quality advantage.

The problem is that most of the cotton ginning plants in the county are collecting flowers at the same level. Most of the cotton farmers live in the same class flowers. Such seed cotton can only be rolled out of the three grade cotton lint, which is the main part of the dirty cotton grade, and not to mention that the three grade of the dirty cotton is currently less than 700 yuan per ton, less than 700 points of the dirty cotton grade two.

1, request the province to introduce the quota Cotton Subsidy Rules as soon as possible.

The relevant organizations in Anxiang County vigorously propagandize the cotton farmers, and timely and accurately introduced the domestic and international cotton market, supply and demand, production and marketing situation, downstream product price information, to help cotton farmers analyze the cotton market price trend, seize the cotton trend and sell cotton timely.

2, cotton merchants and cotton merchants are urged to actively manage cotton, so as to drive the cotton market of Anxiang county at a suitable price, purchase at a price, help cotton farmers to solve the problem of "selling cotton" and strive for their own survival and development.

Cotton farmers should be encouraged to send cotton to the factories to sell cotton, reduce intermediate links and increase revenue.

For cotton farmers who send cotton to the factory, they should try their best to provide convenience for cotton sale, implement high quality and high price, do not press down the price, and solve the disputes arising from the cotton sale process.

In addition to voluntary negotiations, cotton farmers must pay cash for cotton sales and not cotton farmers.

3, cotton purchasing and processing enterprises should encourage and promote cotton farmers to do a good job in grading sale, price according to quality, implement high quality and high price, buy cotton when grading stacking, split rolling.

On the mixed grade cotton orders or help the flower producers to sell on a graded basis, they should take measures such as low price acquisition, which are not willing to classify the most serious mixed flowers, and promote the "four points" of cotton from the final juncture to promote the cotton farmers' "four points" habit.

It is necessary to publicize the importance of "four points" to cotton growers and cotton merchants in order to raise the quality and competitiveness of cotton and effectively solve the problem of "cotton shopping difficulty" in Anxiang county.
