College introduction

Minjiang University is a public full-time undergraduate university officially approved by the Ministry of education in 2002. Now it is the first batch of Pilot Universities in China to serve the national special needs master's degree postgraduate education and the master's degree awarding and cultivation unit in Fujian.

The school admissions to the whole country, and has the qualifications to recruit overseas students, and has 20 thousand and 500 full-time students.

The predecessor of the school was the former Fuzhou Teachers College (founded in 1958) and the former Minjiang Vocational College (founded in 1984 and the Fuzhou arts and crafts school in 2001).

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, served as president of the former Minjiang Vocational College during the CPC Secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Committee.

Academy of Fine Arts, formerly known as the Fuzhou arts and crafts school, was founded in 1956. Li Zhiqing, the famous lacquer artist, master of Chinese arts and crafts, Guo Gongsen, and Pan Shi LAN, an expert on stone and stone, taught here. In 2001, he was incorporated into the Minjiang Polytechnic University and established the Department of Arts and crafts. In 2002, he joined the Minjiang University and renamed it as an art department.

In April 2010, it was renamed Academy of Fine Arts by the art department.

Academy of Fine Arts now has four specialties: environmental art design, visual communication design, sculpture and painting.

There are six teaching and research departments, namely, sketch color, design basis, circular art design, visual communication, sculpture and painting, and the center of lacquer art creation.

The faculty is strong, with 3 professors, 16 associate professors, 5 senior titles and 47 masters.

Zheng Yikun and other 7 masters of Chinese arts and crafts and distinguished painters such as Zheng Bai Qi and Guo Yintu were invited as visiting professors.

The "Fuzhou tyre lacquer ware decoration technology", which has been declared to be declared, has been approved to enter the first batch of intangible cultural heritage list of the whole country. School of clothing and Art Engineering

The school of clothing and art engineering was founded in 2003. It has a state-level specialty, clothing design and engineering. It is a national comprehensive reform pilot unit. It has a key discipline in Fujian Province - Textile Science and engineering, a discipline established by Minjiang scholars, and a building unit of textile science and engineering.

At present, there are thousands of students in the school. The number of graduates entering or studying at home and abroad is about 98%. The employers evaluate the graduates of the College of clothing and art engineering with high quality, ability and basic skills.

At present, the school of clothing and art engineering has formed an excellent teaching staff, including Professor Chen Dongsheng, a professor of Fujian metropolitan and doctoral tutor, and 2 provincial-level teaching masters. There are 1 state-level "characteristic specialties", 1 state-level "quality courses", 3 provincial level "quality courses", 2 provincial key disciplines, 1 provincial featured specialties, 2 provincial level teaching teams, 1 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, 2 provincial level "personnel training mode innovation experimentation area", and provincial and ministerial teaching achievement first prize, 2 and two awards.
