China Textile Association Continues To Promote Sustainable Manufacturing Brand

China international textile fabrics and accessories (Chun Xia) Fair (hereinafter referred to as "fabric exhibition") was held at Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center.

At present, the brand of sustainable development covers 32 of the whole industry chain's consumption and manufacturing brand enterprises in the textile industry. These enterprises are "responsible production" enterprises that have released social responsibility reports over the years, which conform to the people-oriented (legitimate employment, harmonious labor relations, occupational health and safety, etc.).

(energy saving, water saving, emission reduction, low carbon) and green products (the use of recyclable recycled green materials, no harm to the human body and the environment) is a major theme of Chinese enterprises in the social responsibility information disclosure of forerunners.

Environmental protection and energy saving and emission reduction are important topics of the social responsibility of China's textile and garment industry, and are important challenges for the competitiveness of the industry's sustainable development.

2015, we will continue to promote the standardization of information disclosure mechanism, support industries and enterprises to integrate internal and external resources, and build an open, pparent and honest corporate image. Liang Yong, Deputy Secretary General of the the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region people's government, briefed the guests on the current development and preferential policies of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry.

He said that the autonomous region will implement the spirit of the second central Xinjiang work symposium through ten preferential policies and aim at increasing employment.

In 2015, the investment in fixed assets of the textile and garment industry in the autonomous region reached 27 billion 600 million yuan, an increase of 187% over the same period last year. New capacity of cotton spinning ring ingot 2 million spindles, rotor spinning 120 thousand, textile machinery 1500, clothing production capacity 50 million, household textile and carpet production increased by 20% over the same period, and 67 thousand new jobs.

At present, the preferential policies of the autonomous region have already determined that the income tax of Xinjiang textile and garment enterprises is 50% subsidy to enterprises, the electricity price is reduced to 0.35 yuan / degree, 50% cheaper than that of the mainland's textile and electricity consumption; the northern Xinjiang cotton tariff has been raised from 700 yuan / ton to 800 yuan / ton; the southern Xinjiang cotton textile export allowance has been raised from 700 yuan / ton to 1000 yuan / ton; the procurement of fabrics from the mainland has been subsidized by 2% according to the purchase amount; the new staff recruited by the textile and garment enterprises, the government funded training, and the training cost has been changed from the original supply training institution to the direct subsidy enterprise; meanwhile, the newly recruited Xinjiang employees' social security enterprises pay partly by the government subsidy 50%.

Chi Wenjie, Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat of China Asia Europe Expo and member of the Party group and deputy director of Xinjiang International Expo Affairs Bureau, briefed the guests on the textile and garment industry exhibition of the 2015 Eurasian commodity trade fair.

He said that the exhibition will be based on the principle of "less, refined and specialized". It will invite major textile and garment industry chain enterprises, park enterprises, well-known brand enterprises and Xinjiang dominant textile and garment enterprises to participate in the exhibition.

Moreover, on the basis of encouraging the preferential policies for the booth of the original organizing exhibition programme, the exhibition booth fees of the textile and garment industry hall should be increased by 5% or 10% on the basis of the original fixed return proportion, and the exhibitors at the special booth will provide free service at the exhibition site, free publicity before the exhibition, and quantitative reporting on the exhibition.

It is hoped that the famous international textile and garment enterprises will pay close attention to this business fair. We also welcome textile and garment production enterprises and equipment companies, design companies, relevant trade associations and international buyers to participate in the exhibition.
