Shanghaitex2015 Shanghai International Digital Printing Creative Costume Design Competition

The ShanghaiTex2015 Shanghai international digital printing creative clothing design competition lasted 6 months (January 2015 -6 month). It was hosted by Shanghai textile (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai branch of China International Trade Promotion Committee and Shanghai chamber of Commerce of China International Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd., Shanghai Textile Technology Service Exhibition Center, and elegant Exhibition Service Co., Ltd.

As the seventeenth session

Since its launch, competition has been highly concerned by industry, universities and the media.

The organizing committee will publicize the events through the way of "online and offline" simultaneous promotion. "Online" mainly releases official events, information and solicitation notices through more than thirty online media, such as official websites, industry media, WeChat public platforms, etc. "offline" sends posters, leaflets and solicitation notices to more than 5000 units in over 100 units by mail delivery.

As of April 10th, the competition received a total of over 200 works from Donghua University, the Chinese Academy of fine arts, Soochow University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Jiangxi Fashion Institute, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chongqing, China, etc.

The entries focus on the theme of "random printing" and "pilotage fashion", achieving the convergence of "technology and fashion", "creativity and design" and "culture and technology".

In the preliminary contest, the organizing committee invited experts and professors from domestic and foreign clothing colleges to form a jury of the preliminary contest in a timely manner. They are professor Liu Xiaogang from Donghua University, Professor Pan Jianhua from Shanghai Theater Academy, Professor Chen Ying from Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Wu Xuekai, the top ten designer of China, and G.Quaranta, the senior designer of the Italy Fashion Designers Association.

It is gratifying to note that the quality of the works received by this competition is excellent, which generally shows that the participants have a high level of creativity, rich artistic imagination and solid knowledge of clothing.

The final 21 groups were finalists through the judges' grading.

The awards will be held in early June, and will be held during the ShanghaiTex2015 Shanghai international textile industry exhibition.

All the winning entries will be displayed in the shanghaiTex2015 fashion design exhibition area for professionals to observe.
