2500 Chinese Enterprises Settled In Africa

A comprehensive survey of Chinese funded enterprises' entry into Taiwan

As China's industry continues to escalate, African Manufacturing slowly takes the place of made in China.

Yifu Lin once said that with the rise of labor costs and other production costs, China's labor intensive manufacturing industry is facing the tide of diversion, while Africa is the last stop of the global labor intensive industry pfer, and the future "made in China" will also become "made in Africa".

Promoting local multi area development

Yifu Lin served as chief economist and senior vice president of the world bank in 2008. He studied the cost and productivity of footwear industry in China, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

Yifu Lin pointed out that enterprises often go to Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries to set up factories. However, the Vietnamese labor force is relatively small. After the pfer of enterprises, the labor cost will soon be raised, and the cost advantage will soon disappear.

Driven by Yifu Lin, the mainland is the largest.

Huajian group, a manufacturing company, became the first enterprise to enter Africa in the mainland footwear industry in 2011. The report pointed out that the development path of Huajian group will probably become the common trajectory of more and more Chinese manufacturing enterprises.

Dymek, Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia, said: "the first of China's global development partners is China, second is China, third is China", showing the close degree of Sino African Cooperation in industry.

Jie Xiaoyan, the ambassador to China, said that the Huajian group is the largest footwear manufacturer in Ethiopia. The women's shoes account for over 50% of the export of the footwear industry and the development of leather processing, pportation, logistics and farms.

Mainland enterprises in more than 2500

Official data show that since 2009, the mainland has been Africa's largest trading partner for 5 consecutive years, and the trade volume between China and Africa has reached US $210 billion 200 million in 2013.

Africa has become an important source of imports for the mainland, second overseas contracting projects and emerging investment destinations.

By the end of 2013, the mainland was directly against Africa.

It reached US $25 billion, and more than 2500 mainland enterprises were non invested.
