Safety technical specification (GB31701 - 2015) is the first mandatory national standard for children's and children's textile products (children's wear) in China. The standard will be formally implemented in June 1st next year.

The staff said that in clothing volatiles, formaldehyde, benzene and other carcinogens, through clothing and human body direct contact, the harm is very large.

The liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometer in the laboratory can detect carcinogenic dyes in clothing in 40 minutes.

The staff introduced the operation principle and performance of these instruments to reporters. The UV protection tester and the electromagnetic radiation performance tester can determine whether the clothes are qualified by testing the ultraviolet and radiation pmittance in a minute or so.

It is reported that the Qingdao fiber textile supervision and Inspection Institute is one of the first fiber inspection institutions accredited by the National Accreditation Committee of China's conformity assessment, and is the only national quality inspection center in the whole country to test the ecological indicators of textiles.

Li Zhaoyong, vice president of the Municipal Academy of inspection, said that the existing laboratory area is 5100 square meters, and the original value of equipment assets is more than 1600 yuan. It has 268 sets of testing instruments and equipment, and is equipped with more than 30 sets of imported precision instruments, such as inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and atomic absorption spectrophotometer, from the United States, Britain and Japan.

In June 15th of this year, the municipal Inspection Institute signed a cooperation agreement with the China Quality Certification Center (CQC) Qingdao sub center.

The China Quality Certification Center is a third party professional accreditation institution approved by the Chinese government and recognized by many governments and international authoritative organizations.
