From the number of imports, from 11 to 13 years, cotton yarn imports increased year by year, 14 years compared with last year, 90 thousand tons, the import volume was 2 million 10 thousand tons, a decrease of 4.2%; in 2015, the total import volume of cotton yarn imports increased to 2 million 345 thousand tons, up 16.6% over the same period last year.

Two, the import of cotton yarn dropped in the fourth quarter of 2015.

In 2015, the national cotton yarn import price declined, the average annual price was 2.72 US dollars / kg, down 12.2% compared to the same period last year.

At the beginning of the year, the import price was 2.84 US dollars / kg, and it fell to 2.55 US dollars / kg at the end of the year.

In the overall downturn of the textile and garment industry, the import heat of cotton yarn in the first three quarters is still the same. In the first quarter and the two quarter, it imported 591 thousand tons and 594 thousand tons, an increase of 15.2% and 24.9%, and 641 thousand tons in the three quarter, an increase of 33.5%.

Affected by the exchange rate, imports fell in the fourth quarter and imports amounted to 520 thousand tons, down 4.3% from the same period last year. In October, imports of cotton yarn were flat and 174 thousand tons of imports in the same period last year. In November, the import volume was only 160 thousand tons, down 2.9% from the same period last year; in December, it continued to decline 9.8% and the import volume was 186 thousand tons.

Three, India yarn and Vietnamese yarn grab the Chinese market.

India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Indonesia and Uzbekistan were the main sources of imports before China's cotton yarn imports. In 2015, the number of cotton yarn imported from these countries increased, and the import growth from India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Uzbekistan was higher than the average level.

In 2015, China imported 703 thousand tons of cotton yarn from India, an increase of 30% compared to the same period last year, and the import price was 2.66 US dollars / kg, down 12.4%.

Imports of 542 thousand tons and 503 thousand tons of cotton yarn from Pakistan and Vietnam increased by 7.1% and 26.9% respectively, and the unit price of imports was 2.32 US dollars / kg and 2.83 US dollars / kg respectively. Vietnam is higher than Pakistan in terms of total import value.

India yarn and Vietnamese yarn further seized the import market share of China's cotton yarn, rising from 14 to 27% and 20% to 30% and 21% respectively, and Pakistan accounted for 25% from 14 to 23%.

Imports from Indonesia and Uzbekistan were 112 thousand tons and 110 thousand tons, respectively, by 19.3% and 65.5% respectively.

Imports from the United States and South Korea increased by 16.4% and 12% respectively, while Thailand dropped 12.7%.

Four, 2015 cotton yarn top ten import provinces and cities only

Imports showed negative growth.

The number of the top ten cotton yarn importing provinces and cities is only negative in Beijing, with a drop of 20.9% and an import volume of 210 thousand tons.

Guangdong imported 644 thousand tons, an increase of 13.3% over the same period last year, and Zhejiang imported 405 thousand tons, an increase of 15.7% over the same period last year.

The remaining ten top provinces and cities have increased to varying degrees.

The increase in Shandong and Shanghai was 69.4% and 3.4%, the import volume was 279 thousand tons and 239 thousand tons, and the growth rates in Jiangsu, Fujian and Anhui were 17.4%, 52.5% and 15.8% respectively.

The trade pattern was dominated by general trade, accounting for 76.1% of the total imports of cotton yarn, up from 1 million 784 thousand tons, up 20.6% from the same period last year. Processing trade accounted for 21.2%, and the import volume was 497 thousand tons, a slight decrease of 0.9% compared with the same period last year, of which 473 thousand tons of processing were imported.
