Imports Of American Cotton Textiles Increased By 4.9%

Cotton textile imports amounted to about 18 million 300 thousand bales of cotton, an increase of 4.9% over the same period last year.
In 2016, imports of cotton textiles were projected to increase to 18 million 800 thousand bales.
According to NCC's forecast, 27% of all cotton products imported from the United States in 2015 contained 0.62 percentage points, or 5 million bales, compared with the same period last year.

It is estimated that the export volume of cotton in India in 2016 is about 1 million 225 thousand tons.
