It is understood that in 2015, the central and autonomous regions supported the development of textile and garment industry in Xinjiang with a special fund of 3 billion 280 million yuan, and fixed assets investment in textile and garment industry reached 31 billion 800 million yuan, an increase of 2.3 times compared with 2014, and 97 thousand new jobs were achieved throughout the year.

In 2016, the target of fixed assets investment in the textile and garment industry of the autonomous region was 45 billion 500 million yuan, and 110 thousand new jobs were added.

Liang Yong, Deputy Secretary General of the people's Government of the autonomous region, introduced the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry, and announced eight new preferential policies to promote the development of the textile and garment industry.

First, we should shorten the subsidy period of textile and garment enterprises, such as loan discount and export subsidy, from one year to the first quarter, further improve the efficiency of the use of subsidy funds and reduce the production costs of enterprises.

The two is to set up a guiding fund for textile and clothing industry with a scale of about 10 billion yuan, and invest in the investment of famous textile and garment enterprises in Xinjiang investment enterprises, so as to reduce the financing cost.

The NDRC industrial special construction fund has also been tilted to the textile and garment industry. The first batch has supported 7 textile and apparel projects this year, totaling 442 million yuan, and this year there will be three batches.

The three is the use of state owned Property Investment Companies in the key textile and garment industrial parks and the construction of standard factories in towns and townships in four southern prefectures, and three years' rent free investment in clothing, home textiles and other labor intensive enterprises in the mainland.

The four is to set up the international textile and garment industry.

Special funds will be extended to give special support to export oriented enterprises such as garments and home textiles in Xinjiang, and support production enterprises to open up western markets such as Central Asia, Russia and Europe.

The five is to set up a training base for military clothing production technology, and complete the task of directional purchase of military loaded materials in Xinjiang.

To implement interim measures in the area for school uniform, uniforms and tooling.

Six is to carry out the textile and clothing equipment rental in Akesu textile industrial city to give the loan discount policy pilot, in 2017 in the southern Xinjiang four Prefecture state comprehensive promotion.

The seven is to give special subsidies to the textile and garment enterprises from the mainland in four southern prefectures.

The eight is to carry out special diagnostic services for garment enterprises, organize experienced professionals from inside and outside the country to assist small and micro enterprises in four prefectures in southern Xinjiang to help enterprises improve their technical level and management level, and improve labor productivity.

At the meeting, Adyan Dawut, Deputy Secretary General of China Asia Europe Expo and Minister of exhibition and investment and Trade Promotion Department of the Fifth China Asia Europe Expo Executive Committee, introduced the progress of investment organization exhibition and preferential policies.

At present, 32 provinces and cities in China (including planned cities) have actively signed up for participating in the exhibition, and nearly 20 national industry associations have conducted in-depth cooperation with the Expo through different channels, and have made precise recommendation to nearly 60 countries and regions.
