"2015-2016 Textile And Clothing E-Commerce Development Report" Guide Future Directions
Recently, the China Textile Industry Federation information statistics department, circulation branch, China Textile and apparel e-commerce alliance jointly released the "2015-2016 textile and clothing e-commerce report (simplified edition)" (hereinafter referred to as the "report"). The report summarized the development of e-commerce in the whole country in 2015, and focused on the analysis of clothing.

E-commerce pactions totaled 3 trillion and 700 billion yuan, an increase of 25% over the same period last year.
The application environment of e-commerce has been further improved, and the ability of enterprises to further develop e-commerce with regard to brand development and efficiency enhancement has been further strengthened.
In 2015, apparel home textile online retailing continued to grow, of which apparel network retail sales totaled 723 billion 200 million yuan, up 20.57% over the same period last year. The total retail sales of home textiles exceeded 100 billion yuan, reaching 107 billion 800 million yuan, an increase of 28.03% over the same period last year.
In 2015, the development of e-commerce between textile and garment enterprises (B2B) was rapid, with a turnover of 2 trillion and 850 billion yuan, an increase of 27.8% over the previous year, an increase of 9 percentage points over the 2014 growth rate, accounting for 77% of the total e-commerce pactions in the industry, and the dominant position in the development of e-commerce industry.
The report points out that the rapid development of B2B between textile and garment enterprises is mainly due to the evolution of the mainstream e-commerce platform service mode from trade matching to business closed-loop, and the gradual improvement of payment, logistics and financial services, which greatly improves the enthusiasm of enterprises in the application of e-commerce.

2015 is a year of online Convergence Development of apparel home textile online retailing, and the development of traditional brand enterprises under the integration of offline stores has been accelerating.
The trend of branding in the online retail market is obvious. The online shopping preferences of Internet users are becoming more mature. Consumption upgrading and social pformation will bring about many blind spots and new business opportunities for apparel home textiles while promoting the pformation of retail business mode.
According to the report, in 2015, the volume of e-commerce pactions in 850 specialized textile and garment markets above ten thousand square meters was 810 billion yuan (Figure 4), an increase of 27.08% over the same period, and still maintained a high growth rate.
Compared with industry e-commerce, the proportion of e-commerce pactions in professional market is 21.89%, a slight decrease compared with 2014, accounting for 39.51% of professional market entities (2 trillion and 50 billion yuan), an increase of 8 percentage points compared with 2014.
E-commerce has become an important force in expanding the professional market channel, increasing sales volume and innovating development.
It is reported that the "blue book on the development of China's textile and clothing e-commerce" (published in June 2016) will be published in June 2016 by the China Textile Industry Federation information statistics department, circulation branch and China Textile and apparel e-commerce alliance.
The book will comprehensively and deeply summarize and analyze the process, experience and problems of the development of e-commerce in the textile and garment industry during the "12th Five-Year" period, and study the direction and trend of the development of e-commerce industry, so as to provide reference for the pformation and upgrading of the industry in 13th Five-Year and the application of e-commerce in enterprises.
