In October 31st, the reporter learned from the Ji'nan Bureau of industry and commerce that the SAIC has set up a reception window for trademark registration in Ji'nan, and will begin to apply for the acceptance of trademark registration for the public on November 1st.

Before applying for trademark, a public or qualified trademark agency is required to submit materials to the Trademark Bureau of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of Beijing.

In the future, materials can be submitted locally in Ji'nan.

Ji'nan city commerce and Industry Bureau staff said, only last year, Ji'nan registered trademark has declared 24 thousand, registered volume has 17 thousand pieces.

According to the calculation of about 250 working days of the year, the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce will accept about 96 registered trademarks of Ji'nan Municipality every day.

"After the establishment of the reception window in Ji'nan, the staff of the Ji'nan industry and Commerce Bureau will conduct a formal review of the materials, which will help alleviate some workload."

Paper materials will also be sent to the General Administration of industry and commerce.

It is also understood that, according to the requirements of the State Administration for Industry and commerce, the registration window for trademark registration is only for trademark applicants, not for trademark agencies, and the fee standard refers to the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Finance and the national development and Reform Commission.
