In order to reduce pollutant emissions from key industries from the source, Handan took the lead in implementing the ultra low emission control of iron and steel and coking enterprises in the whole province. The 58 sintering machines of 18 iron and steel enterprises have implemented active coke desulphurization and denitrification integrated treatment or SCR denitrification treatment, and 53 coking plants of 21 coking enterprises are no longer producing.
