Taking This Summer'S Women'S Football As A Turning Point, Nike Helps The New Generation Of Female Athletes.
In March 12th, Nike and 40 elite female athletes from all over the world jointly released the 14 national team uniform for the French women's football feast this summer in Paris.
Witness the new cooperation plan of Nike to further support women athletes.
"We believe that this summer will be another important turning point in the development of women's football," said Mark Parker, chairman and chief executive officer of Nike group, MarkParker. "We are more eager to see that the energy and participation of the games can be extended to more sports.
Nike promises to continue to provide leading support for athletes, help the new generation of grassroots athletes, and continue to provide women with more innovative and attractive product design.
This determination will be divided into several main areas:
Supporting elite sports
In Paris, Nike also announced a three year cooperation agreement with UEFA Women's football team.
The partnership will be built on the basis of Nike's participation in the sport and its close connection with elite clubs and athletes.
As an official partner, Nike will become a UEFA Women's ball supplier and will support the European Union of Football Association (UEFA)'s "Together#, weplaystrong" plan to consolidate the leading position of football in the European women's group movement.
In addition, Nike continues to provide continuous support for North American, Chinese and elite women soccer players all over the world.
At the basketball level, Nike continues to promote the development of women's basketball team worldwide through cooperation with WNBA, FIBA and China Basketball Association.
At the same time, at the university sports level, Nike is giving full support to more than 25000 outstanding women athletes from 200 Yu college and different sports events.
Motivating future grassroots athletes
Nike is helping girls break the traditional barriers more confidently and actively participate in sports through new cooperation projects and products with the community.
In Paris, Nike and volunteer community organization Sportdansla Ville cooperated to train female coaches, encouraging more and more local girls to participate in sports such as football and boxing.
Around the world, Nike has joined forces with Women Win and GurlsTalk to support young female coaches who are encouraging new generation girls to take part in sports.
From London to Losangeles, to Beijing and Buenos Aires, Nike guided the project to provide Nike Pro Hijab sports scarves and Nike Classic sports underwear for girls in need, through schools and community partners around the world.
Leading sustainable development
By pcending the test challenges of limited natural resource constraints, Nike regards sustainable development as a key opportunity for innovative design.
This has been achieved through strict color matching methods (Nike plant color series using vegetable dye), structural composition (New VaporMax2Random will use excess Flyknit yarn on upper) and material innovation (Flyleather uses at least 50% recyclable natural leather fiber) to achieve.
In addition, all Nike football jerseys are made from recycled bottles.
Since 2010, Nike has recycled over 6 billion waste plastic bottles through sustainable product design.
Now, more than 1 billion plastic bottles are recycled each year to make new Nike products. Nike has been the largest user of recycled polyester materials in textile and garment industry for 5 consecutive years.

Nike will lead women's athletes as the core of clothing innovation.
The design of the 14 national team uniform is derived from the use of Nike Sports Research Center's 4D scanning and motion capture technology to accurately obtain professional players' posture information.
Nike has focused on this exclusive female precision project in the joint launch of the 2019 spring summer high performance sports lingerie series, which has 57 styles, the largest size is 44G, so that women with more body size, size and interest can find suitable underwear.
These two examples demonstrate that Nike is making extensive efforts to provide women athletes with wide selection of fit, support, dressing experience and styling style.
