For example, in 2018, the total amount of fiber processing reached 54 million 600 thousand tons, accounting for more than half of the total global fiber processing; 80% of the yarn production in the world over 60S was produced in China; 90% of the global colored spun yarn was produced in China; and 60% of the top grade yarn dyed fabrics in the world were supplied by China.

At the same time, China's textile and garment industry is also the backbone of China's steady economic operation.

But now we have seen a lot of the negative effects of trade friction on the textile and garment industry.

When analyzing the import and export situation of China's textile machinery, Sun Ruizhe said that in the import category, auxiliary devices and spare parts ranked first, accounting for 24.15%, followed by chemical fiber and spinning machinery. In the importing countries and regions, Japan, Germany, Italy, Taiwan and Belgium accounted for 81.63% of the trade.

In terms of exports, export volume reached a record high in 2018, with obvious demand in Southeast Asia, South Asia and Africa. The export of knitting machinery accounted for 26.08% of the export category, ranking first in the export countries, and India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Turkey accounted for 51.4% of the total exports, of which Turkey and Vietnam grew significantly.

Now our counterparts are facing problems like this or that. China has been driving the global market. India is trying to develop the textile industry. Bangladesh also has potential investment opportunities. As Turkey, like China, several big enterprises are investing in a concentrated way. The United States no matter what decision the president made, we must admit that the US economy is really recovering and it may not be predicted in two or three years.

Indonesia's market potential can be expected and deserves attention.

Last year, we upgraded to automated mechanical production, because this is the most important means to enhance our competitiveness.

We have achieved record growth in 2017 and 2018 for two consecutive years, hoping to better continue this situation.

In 2018, the situation of Yida was fairly good, because we produced some good products and were accepted by customers, but after 2018, the sales of looms were not ideal.

The Chinese market is still ideal. Even if other markets are suffering some negative effects, China can see many new investments. The Sino US trade friction is that the political situation is affecting the business, which requires us to have better market resilience and adaptability.

There are some new business opportunities in Vietnam. In the future, we will make some investment in Bangladesh in weaving. In India, we will face some challenges. Pakistan will not improve temporarily. Iran needs more efforts. Turkey also has currency depreciation problems. Product sales have changed. In Europe, we will invest heavily in replacing old machines with new machines. In the United States, we are also not optimistic about the political impact. We hope that we will not suffer more Waterloo in 2019.

Market saturation, downward pressure obvious

After eight and a half years of continuous rise, the knitting industry is going downhill, and there is still demand in shoemaking, socks and other industries. But the market capacity is close to saturation. It will not be as fast as before. This is a structural change.

Before 2018, the market situation was very good, but after that, demand and investment were declining. The issue of trade protection in the United States may become a big situation which has to be faced. In 2019, this situation has not become better. The problem of the middle strength of the national economy in textile and garment industry has been threatened. If the market is still not warm in the second half of this year, all of our plates will be under pressure.
