Decathlon Attaches Great Importance To The Chinese Market And Will Participate In The Second Fair.
The global sporting goods retail giant Decathlon Group signed an agreement with the China International Import Expo to confirm that it will participate in the second China International Import Fair held in Shanghai in from November 5th to 10th of this year and hold the first release of Decathlon's new retail wisdom solution. This is the first time Decathlon has joined the fair.
Founded in 1976 in Lille, France, Decathlon is the largest retail sporting goods retailer in the world. "China is one of Decathlon's most important markets." This is the Decathlon founder's evaluation of the Chinese market. Decathlon has entered China since the 90s of last century. In 2003, it opened the first Asian entity shopping mall in Shanghai. Now it has about 300 entity shopping centers in over 100 cities across the country. China has become the center of Decathlon global transformation and new retail development and innovation. In recent years, Decathlon has invested in Shanghai's first comprehensive gymnasium in Asia, turning shopping malls into huge sports communities. On the occasion of the 55th anniversary establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, French President Ma long will pay a state visit to China again by the end of this year. France will take part in the Expo as one of the six host countries. This year, the number of French enterprises participating in the fair will exceed last year. According to the data of the Bureau of entry and exit, the total exhibition area of the second trade fair will reach 300 thousand square meters, including 7 exhibition areas, including equipment, technology life, automobile, quality life, food and agricultural products, medical devices and health care, trade in services and so on.
