The 14 people's Daily said that it was a serious incident of violence, a collective crime and a serious violation of human rights. Today, those thugs who rip off the mainland personnel at Hongkong airport and many other thugs will pay a heavy price to pay for the crimes committed today.

- In February 15th, the Security Bureau of the Hongkong SAR government submitted to the Legislative Council proposals to amend the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance and the mutual legal assistance in criminal matters. After that, it continued to be discredited by the Hongkong opposition's malicious speculation and attack.
- In March 15th, the Hongkong opposition organization "Hongkong Zhongzhi" many people strongly broke the headquarters of the Special Administrative Region, trying to obstruct the amendment of the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance.
- In June 12th, opposition groups in Hongkong organized demonstrators in the Hongkong Special Administrative Region Headquarters and the Legislative Council periphery area to block the road. They made a huge impact on the police line and forced the Legislative Council of the Special Administrative Region to meet at noon that day to consider the 2019 mutual legal assistance legislation (Amendment) bill for the fugitive offenders and criminal matters.
- In June 15th, when the chief executive of the Hongkong Special Administrative Region, Lin Zhengyuee, announced the suspension of the amendment of the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance, the Hongkong opposition not only failed to respond to the goodwill of the SAR government to sit down for consultation on the repair cases, but intensified the demonstrations into an attack, successively attacked and smashed the Hongkong Legislative Council, blocked the central office building in Hongkong and stained the Chinese national emblem, attacked the injured duty policemen and patriotic people, smashed the fire and made the mess, and directed at the Central People's Government of People's Republic of China.

- In August 13th, the Hongkong opposition organized a rally at Hong Kong International Airport to prevent passengers from boarding the plane. The cause of the incident in Hongkong appears to have been triggered by the amendment of the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance, but the real reason behind it is to be further studied.

How does Hongkong's chaos affect economic industry?
Lin Zhengyuee, chief executive of the Hongkong Special Administrative Region, recently met with the media, saying that Hongkong's current economic situation is grim and it is difficult to recover in a short time. People from all walks of life in Hongkong, including tourism and retail, have voicing their voices to stop violence and join hands to revive the economy.
Qiu Tenghua, director of the commerce and Economic Development Bureau of the Hongkong Special Administrative Region government, said recently that 22 countries, including the United States and Australia, had issued travel warnings to Hongkong, and the number of tourism related data has increased. The downward pressure on Hongkong's economy has further increased.
The industry indicated that July and August were the peak season for tourism in Hongkong. But this year, due to ongoing demonstrations, demonstrations and frequent violent clashes, visitors to Hong Kong fell sharply: the number of visitors to Hong Kong fell by double digits in July, and the number of visitors to Hong Kong in August and September will decrease significantly; the occupancy rate in June hotels decreased by 3 percentage points compared with the same period last year, and the number of double digit declines appeared;
Cui Dingbang, director general of the Hongkong Tourism Promotion Association, said that the average number of tours in the mainland has decreased from 300 daily missions in May and June to 150 in recent days, much lower than the same period in previous years. With the US and Australia increasing the warning of visiting Hong Kong, overseas tourists are also decreasing. Some of the tour guides have been forced to close down.
Apart from the mainland market, the Southeast Asian market has also been affected. Xie Ganting, President of the Hongkong Association of travel agents association, said that from the end of July, the number of tour groups in Southeast Asia dropped by 80% to 90%, and only about 400 Southeast Asian group travelers were expected in August.
Huang Jinda, chairman of the Hongkong Tourism Industry Council, said that although today is the peak season for traditional tourism, three to 50% short tour groups have cancelled their trip due to the recent situation in Hongkong. He believes that the most important thing now is to restore order to society. If the situation continues to deteriorate, not only will the visiting group be affected, but the number of business travellers in the second half of this year may also see a marked decline.
More than 95% of Hongkong's enterprises are small and medium-sized enterprises, and the economic downturn is a great blow to SMEs. Chao Guoming, President of the Hongkong General Chamber of Commerce of small and medium sized enterprises, said that SMEs not only faced the export problems caused by Sino US economic and trade frictions, but also suffered from the downturn of the local economy in recent months, resulting in a 30% drop in the number of companies and a reduction in wages and downtime for some employees. If the economy continues to deteriorate, business failures and rising unemployment will emerge. He called on all sectors of Hongkong to work together to restore Hongkong's economy as soon as possible.
Violent parade has a direct impact on the business of shops. Zhong Guobin, a member of the textile and garment industry of the Legislative Council of the Hongkong Special Administrative Region, said that at present, demonstrations and demonstrations are held every week, which often turn into violent conflicts, resulting in many shops closing down directly. In addition, many regions are giving travel warnings to Hong Kong. The business of catering, retailing and transportation has dropped by two to 50%. The capital chain of many enterprises has started to break up, and there may be more layoffs in the future. He called on all parties to stop violence and give small and medium-sized enterprises breathing space.
Guan Bo Hao, board member of Hongkong Retail Management Association, admitted that the current retail business is very difficult and most retail businesses are losing money. The persistent violent incidents led to a sharp drop in turnover and a single digit decline in July, and it is expected to reach double figures in August.
In addition to its performance, Guan Bai Hao worries that economic difficulties will bring a chain reaction and lead to employment difficulties. He said he believed that the government would solve the current difficulties and called on all citizens of Hongkong to rely on each other and support each other to revitalize Hongkong's economy.
Faced with such a mess, we should not only reflect calmly, but also look at it correctly and rationally.
First, Hongkong is China, and the premise of one country, two systems is a country.
Second, the status of Hongkong is a historical achievement, and the future of Hongkong is closely linked with the mainland of China.
Third, the world recognised that Hongkong and Taiwan belong to China.
