Strong Push "No Agreement To Break Europe", Johnson And Optima In The Parliamentary Fierce Battle
The British opposition leader, who did not want to see "no agreement to depart from Europe", sought to prevent "no agreement from Europe" at the British Parliament level in August 27th. Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Johnson was reported to be sending more tough "off Europe" faction to the upper house of Parliament. British media commented that a battle for success or failure is about to be staged in the British Parliament.
Johnson, who attended the G7 summit in France last weekend, said Britain could easily handle the problem of "no agreement to depart from Europe". The British Guardian quoted Johnson as saying that the United Kingdom is intensifying the preparatory work of "no agreement to depart from Europe", but the aim is to ensure an agreement with the European Union at the last minute before the deadline of the October 31st plan to "take off Europe".
But British media are now concerned about how Johnson can push the "no deal with Europe" plan passed in the British Parliament. The British Independent newspaper reported on the 27 day that Johnson plans to elect more people who support "off Europe" to enter the house of Lords to change the situation that the upper house is controlled by Optima. On the same day, the British Guardian quoted Chakra Barty, the chief prosecutor of the Labour Party's shadow cabinet, as saying that if Johnson closed the parliament in order to forcibly pass the "no agreement to remove Europe", it would be a "serious abuse of power" and an attack on the British constitutional principles. Johnson will face the challenge of judicial review, and the court may also issue a temporary injunction, so that members of both houses of Parliament will continue to play a constitutional role in this crisis.
According to the British "times" 27 reported that, do not want to see "no agreement to Europe" of the British opposition party held a meeting on the same day to discuss how to defeat Johnson in the battlefield of Parliament. The opposition party leaders represented by Corbin, the leader of the British opposition Labour Party, discussed what strategies should be adopted in the parliament to prevent Britain from "no agreement to depart from Europe" in October 31st, including how to prevent Johnson from using the prime minister's authority to allow parliament to adjourn until the conservative government realizes the plan of "no agreement to break Europe". Broadcasting British Corporation (BBC) reported that 27 leaders of various opposition parties, including the Scotland National Party, the Liberal Democratic Party and Welsh's local political parties, participated in the meeting. On the same day, the statement said, "all the parties at the meeting agreed that the urgent task is to find a feasible plan to prevent Britain from breaking the agreement, including legislation and a vote of no confidence in the government." The Labour Party also sent an invitation to five conservative members on the same day. The chairman of the conservative party, Karl welfare, responded that it was the Labor Party creating chaos that would bring more turbulence to Britain.
The United Kingdom should be "no agreement to remove Europe" from the British leader of the European party, the 27 day, criticizing the opposition party held in Europe. He believes that such a practice is totally disregard of public opinion and that "no agreement to break Europe" has become the only acceptable option for the British. Corbin wrote in the British Independent newspaper 27 days ago that he will consider taking all necessary measures to prevent Johnson's "no agreement from Europe" plan. However, opposition parties, including the Labour Party, have responded to Corbin's proposal as "the Prime Minister of the provisional coalition government".
Johnson had earlier suggested that if Britain chose "no agreement to depart from Europe", it would refuse to pay the "breakup fee" of 39 billion pounds. The Financial Times quoted the European Union as saying that if Britain does not pay the "breakup fee" in full, the EU will prevent Britain from signing bilateral free trade agreements with other countries.
At present, there is no progress in the negotiations between the UK and the EU. Johnson wants to remove the controversial Irish safeguards Ordinance, while the EU says it is unwilling to resume negotiations. A few days ago, when Johnson met with German Chancellor Merkel, the latter slightly relaxed. He said that if we want to amend the EU agreement within 30 days, Britain should propose a feasible plan.
