In August 29th, the Akesu textile industrial town (Development Zone) Management Committee signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Urumqi international land and Port Area Construction Committee.

At the signing ceremony, the head of the Akesu textile industrial town (Development Zone) management committee introduced the foreign trade and import and export situation of the regional and textile industrial city in detail, and the textile industrial city will further establish and improve the coordination and interest coordination mechanism, relying on the Urumqi east land and port area east west double logistics corridor system to achieve a win-win situation.

The relevant person in charge of the port area said that under the strong leadership of the Autonomous Region Party committee, the land and port committee will work together with the textile industrial city to make full use of the advantages of the textile industrial city, and actively build the textile industry city into an intelligent integrated service platform of customs, railways and material flow, providing an efficient, convenient and high-quality multimodal transport comprehensive service for the development of export-oriented economy in Akesu.

The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement will be the construction of the Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone) to become the center for cargo gathering in the southern part of the central Europe, and lay a solid foundation for the smooth operation of the export supervision warehouses and bonded warehouses in the Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone), providing foreign trade carriers for the import and export goods of both places, forming the accumulation of foreign trade goods in both places, and promoting the development of the outward oriented economy in both places, thus forming a new linkage pattern of functional complementarity and dislocation development.
