Shanghai market supervision and Management Bureau announced the results of the 2019 Shanghai swimsuit quality inspection, Disney, Juan Hai, Hui, hot people, flying waves, kingdees, good health and other trademarks (nominal) swimsuit products on the list of unqualified.

Recently, the market supervision and Administration Bureau of Wuhan city has conducted supervision and spot checks on the quality of swimsuit products produced and sold in the market. The safety technical specification, GB 31701 "infant and child textile product safety technical specification", "GB/T 29862" textile knitted swimsuit, FZ/T 73013 "knitted swimsuit", FZ/T 81021 "woven swimsuit" and other standard requirements have been tested for the following items: formaldehyde content, pH value, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dye, water fastness, sweat fastness, dry friction color fastness, moisture resistance color fastness, sea water color fastness, chlorination resistance (swimming pool water) color fastness, stretch elastic elongation, resistance to chlorinated water (swimming pool water) stretch elastic recovery rate, children's wear rope and belt safety requirements, residual metal needle, fiber content. The 31 batches of products were checked, according to SHCCJSGF 201.A "technical specification for product quality supervision and inspection of swimmers" (swimwear), and GB 18401 "basic textile products of the country".

After examination, 7 batches failed. According to the spot checks, 3 batches of products were found to be unqualified, and the unqualified items involved were: Children's ropes and belt safety requirements; another 4 batches of products failed to meet the performance indicators, and the unqualified items involved were fiber content and tensile elastic elongation.

Unqualified children's wear ropes and straps will cause users to suffer from safety problems such as ticking, straining, entangling and falling down during swimming. The fiber content does not match the requirements of consumers, and the elasticity elongation rate reflects the tensile properties of swimsuit fabrics, the elongation of elastic stretch is not qualified, and the wearers are prone to feel tight and cause human discomfort.

The market supervision and Administration Bureau said that the unqualified products found in the spot checks will be handed over to the market supervision department of the enterprises where they are located.
