China Textile Alliance Will Promote Cooperation With Textile And Garment Industries In The Mekong River

On the 18 day, from the China Textile Industry Federation, China Textile Federation will promote cooperation with the textile and garment industry of the five Mekong countries, and promote the deep integration of garment, yarn, textile equipment and other industrial chains through strengthening trade exchanges, investment interaction and improving cooperation mechanism.

Xu Ying, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, said that since the establishment of the Lanmei cooperation mechanism, the import and export trade of textiles and garments between China and the Mekong River has achieved steady and rapid growth, and the scale of investment continues to expand.

Xu Ying Xin said that the import and export volume of textiles and clothing between China and the Mekong River in 2018 reached US $29 billion 790 million, accounting for 9.6% of the total import and export volume of textiles and clothing in China. Export trade continues to develop and import trade continues to increase. The scale of investment in China's textile enterprises in Mekong River continues to expand.

Through cooperation in trade and investment, China and the Mekong River have gradually established a complementary and interactive textile industry structure, forming an efficient garment processing industry chain cooperation relationship, yarn, fabric, textile equipment manufacturing industry and other cooperative development, and the industrial chain presents a deep integration trend.

Xu Ying Xin said that with the development of the textile industry chain of the Mekong River, the cooperation with China's textile industry will be more diversified. In the future, the cooperation in high-end fields such as weaving, dyeing, dyeing and finishing will expand. The Mekong River will also be one of the most important industrial layout choices of China's textile and clothing brands.

At the recent Sino US textile Cooperation summit held in Suzhou, China Textile Federation and the textile and Apparel Association of the Mekong River agreed to establish a dialogue mechanism to jointly issue a joint statement on textile and garment industry cooperation and further promote cooperation in textile and garment industry on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
