Wuhan Textile University: Let The Chinese Excellent Hand Spinning Hand Woven Art Torch Relay.
"We should jointly explore the path of protection and development of traditional cotton and linen textile technology, so that Chinese excellent hand woven art will be handed down." On the morning of October 22nd, the Wuhan Textile University held a symposium on the protection and development path of traditional cotton textile technology in the Museum of Gong Wang Fu at the Museum of Gong Wang Fu. Nearly 100 experts from all over the country took part in the revitalization of traditional technology academic forum. Sun Dongning is the executive director of the National Exhibition Center for intangible cultural heritage. In his view, the traditional cotton and linen textile technology is the composition of Chinese civilization. The ancient Silk Road is an important channel for China to communicate through textiles. In today's highly industrialized society, how to make traditional handicrafts into modern fashion life, so that the intangible cultural heritage can be renewed is the responsibility of our vast number of non heritage workers. Our exploration is to make Chinese traditional culture more confident.
Feng Zemin, Professor of clothing College of Wuhan Textile University, has been engaged in the research on protection and development of traditional cotton and linen textile technology for a long time. He believes that "the place of Jingchu, which is mainly located in Hubei, is one of the birthplaces of textile culture. Traditional textile, dyeing, weaving and embroidery techniques are rich and varied. Millennial Chu dress culture is an important part of traditional textile and clothing culture, fully excavating the connotation of traditional textile and clothing culture and integrating modern fashion design, so that non heritage can bloom new vitality."
Cui Rongrong, a professor at Jiangnan University, who has long been engaged in the study of textile costume culture heritage, thinks: "on the one hand, we should strengthen the protection of traditional handicrafts and preserve the Chinese excellent heritage culture; on the other hand, we must innovate on the basis of inheritance so that intangible cultural heritage can enter modern life and approach ordinary people."
Liu Dayou, chairman of Hubei Bai Po Tong and Jujube coarse cloth inheritor, said: "the development and revitalization of intangible cultural heritage should adapt to the market and meet the needs of modern people for a better life on the basis of traditional inheritance. As a cultural entrepreneur, we must have feelings and be willing to shoulder the responsibility of revitalizing traditional culture.

Liu Ge, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of Wuhan Textile University, introduced the "new weaving dress" with the background of Jingchu regional culture, and sought inspiration from the textile relics in the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period unearthed in Jingzhou, Hubei. With the change of the clothing of Chu folk dress to the Wang Hou aristocracy as the axis, the traditional hand woven cloth woven cloth was used as the main material, and the pattern of folk embroidery was reproduced.
There are 37 sets of new weave series of garments, including 26 women's wear, 1 men's wear and 10 children's garments, all designed by the team of Wuhan Textile University's non Heritage Center. Zhao Jinlong, deputy director of the Wuhan Textile University's non heritage research center, said: "the designer has shown the thickness and the natural texture of the handwoven cloth through the cutting and splicing of the new fashion style through the bold and innovative cutting and splicing. Ye Hongguang, team leader of the Wuhan Textile University's non Heritage Center, introduced the series of costumes and roots in traditional textile techniques, and thoroughly explored the essence of the textile and clothing culture in Hubei, integrating into the traditional textile techniques of Jujube's coarse cloth, the traditional cotton textile technology of Ezhou Huarong, the traditional textile technology of Hong'an cloth, the traditional cotton textile technology of Hebei Weixian County, the weaving technology of the native cloth of the Zanhuang village, and the 7 state-level and provincial non heritage items, such as Hubei and cross stitch, and Miao Miao cross stitch, which provide the development ideas for the inheritance and protection of the traditional textile intangible cultural heritage, so that the intangible cultural heritage can enter the beautiful life of the people.
Wang Biying is a student of fashion show at Wuhan Textile University.
